Gaynell Bellizan-Robinson
BIO
Gaynell Bellizan is the producer of Future Focus Magazine. She was born and raised in New Orleans La. She attended Xavier University, New Orleans, La. where she received a Bachelor of Arts degree in Mass Communications. Since receiving her degree she has been very active in her career of broadcasting. Ms Robinson has worked for Fox Television Network in Los Angeles, Calif. and many television and radio stations in the states of Georgia, California and Louisiana in Sales and production over her career.
Currently, she works as a Substitute Teacher in the Fort Worth ISD. She still produces a cable access television show in New Orleans. She is the mother of two children, Brandon 19, and Cydne 8 and a loving wife to Frank Robinson Jr.
Before the storm, Ms Robinson was the Managing Editor of a successful local magazine that featured aspiring artists, clergy and community leaders. The storm destroyed the Company she was employed with, leaving her unemployed and confused about what to do.
Now, in the aftermath, Ms Robinson has been burdened with how can I help when I need so much help? Everything she learned about surviving the storm: the aftermath was first hand. Now she knows we have to focus on the future to rise above our circumstances.
Thus Future Focus magazine is born! It was birthed out of the need to help a people with so many issues that the way we do business as usual is not helping. ?We need rules and laws to change or be created in order to make a difference in the lives of people affected by disasters, then we can re-build and have hope again?, she says. Therefore, she is on a mission to ?Focus on the Future? and share with everyone the knowledge that gives power.
