I am a 60 year old mother of 4 and grandmother of 7. I live with a companion who is wonderful and we have 10 fur babies - 3 dogs (2 Japanese Chins and a Pug) and 7 cats (all resues who range in age from 16 years to 6 months.) I had lost everything in 2001 - my parents passed on, I divorced, and had to close a business due to theft and emblezzelment from a "friend". My home had financed my store so that was gone also. But I was still able to work and had returned to private tutoring and loved it. Formerly, I had be a director of a Learning Center and loved the feeling of helping children learn. I had given up that position to fulfill the dream of owning an antique store. My life changed completely 4 years ago when I was diagnosed with Primary Plumonary Hypertension - a progressive, terminal disease. Physical activity became a real challange - some days walking to the mailbox is a big job! Once over the depression that set in - I learned to really appreciate each and every moment of life. I cherish the small things that had usually gone unnoticed in the busy days. I am thankful for every breath and each day. Things may be hard but at least I am still here to enjoy my family and friends. To pet my precious little furbabies or to sit and look at the beutiful wonders of nature. I am alive!!

JUST WANTED TO THANK YOU AGAIN, FROM MY HEART FOR HELPING TO MAKE THIS WISH OF MINE COME CLOSER TO BECOMING A REALITY...THOUGH I KNOW I'M UP AGAINST A WHOLE LOT OF OTHERS WHO NEED THEIR WISHES GRANTED, TOO...THE HARD PART IS I DON'T HAVE WEEKS AND WEEKS TO KEEP COMING BACK TO TRY AGAIN...HE'S GETTING WEAKER DAY BY DAY...I JUST PRAY SOMEHOW WE CAN MAKE THIS HAPPEN...IF YOU WOULD BE ABLE TO PASS MY WISH ON TO OTHERS, I'D SURE APPRECIATE IT.
