| Activities: | My work and taking care of my rambling 120+ year old "Renovators Delight" and its gardens keeps me plenty busy. I love music, books, cooking up a feast and all manner of handcrafts. I seem to be involved with some committee or another on any given day and have a firm belief in giving time/skills for community projects. Anything left is spent enjoying the company of my friends, extended family and my Sweetie. |

I love the way rain smells and how it sounds on a tin roof at night when I'm going to sleep. It's my favourite lullaby :)
Oceans: love clean, damp sand between my toes, wading into the salt water until it's up to my chin and then diving under, the sounds, the scents, all of it. |
| Favourite Music: | Keith Urban; my favourite solo artist - Saw him live in Melbourne May 18 2007 and he completely rocked my world *thud*!!! Great Big Sea (love them all but have a very soft spot for the lovely Alan Doyle). Kelly Pettit, a HUGE talent who is also the sweetest guy ever (okay, second sweetest :D no-one tops MY Sweetie). U2. The Corrs. Sting. Chris Isaac. Bare Naked Ladies. The Punters. The Ordinary Fear of God ( with Alan Doyle...are you noticing a theme here? *L*) John Mayer (but you know John.. if someone speaks from the heart it doesn't matter how many big words they do or do not know, sheesh!) Harry Connick Jnr.(Saw him live his first tour Down Under when I was 19, WOW!) Love Jazz, swing, bigband tunes. Johnny Cash. Don Henley (Boys of summer, End of the innocence...WOW again) . Brobdingnagian Bards make me smile. |
| Favourite Tv Shows: | SG1, Firefly, Battlestar Galactica, Corner Gas (can't get enough of it, and YES... Davis and Karen DO remind me of people I've worked with! *L*).
No time or inclination to catch them on TV very often. I am guilty of having marathon sessions with them on DVD whenever time permits! |
| Favourite Movies: | LOTR, Serenity, X Men, The Big Easy, The Right Stuff, Kate & Leopold, A Beautiful Mind, Braveheart (I've never been able to watch the scenes where they murder him *shudder*), Highlander, Dragonheart, Star Wars, Disney Pixar, Almost anything with Sean Connery, Hugh Jackman, Russell Crowe, Nicole Kidman (love our Nic), Meg Ryan, Will Smith or Dennis Quaid. I'm also a Clark Gable Fan, so I'll give any of his movies a watch. |
