Bio:
Just an old country girl, miss placed then replaced in the place I love. I like to raise birds (any kind). Love my family, husband, stepdaughter and all my animals and friends. I am a giver most of the time, puts a warm spot in my heart. I've had a rough life like most of you, sickness and accidents put a major hurting on me.But it's something I'll have to deal with for the rest of my life, short even though it may be. I enjoy the outdoors in any kind of weather, a chate with a friend, a good book or movie, a snuggle with my husband or kitties. Life is only what you make of it, I'm making mine as good as I can.

Today's Shout Out.... Telemarketers
Can't a sick person get any rest? I hate it when you have just settled down to rest and the phone starts to ring. It's like they know! Every 15 to 20 minutes the phone rings and it's some person trying to sell you something, or it's that infurnal silence of them checking to see if you are home. Andy Rooney made a comment on this once.... "ask them for their home number so you can call them when it's more convient for you" or " hit the #6 button about 10 times real fast and hang up". Sometimes it works. Big one is that blocking a person or putting yourself on one of the do not call list... DOES NOT WORK... Come on people... work hours are 8 to 4 use those hours please!!

Rude People...
I know there are people out there that have nothing better to do than be rude to others. There are also those who will do anything just for themselves. Those are the worst ones. They think the world revolves around THEM. I call these people,, I, Me and My people. (I was married to one) There was hardley ever a US, WE, OURS in our lives. Well those people can just keep to themselves. Please, you don't know me and I don't know you, so please keep your selfishness to yourselves. Don't get me wrong, there is nothing wrong with being a little selfish every now and again. So THINK before you speak, the person you are degrading just might be the person you will NEED one day.

Do Not Take This As A Hateful Remark....
If you are close to 50 yrs old, then you remember how you grew up. I know things have change extremely since we were kids. I know there has been alot of leaniency due to the goverments interference with us raising our children, but I believe some people just gave up.
Correcting your child when they do something wrong, IS NOT WRONG. We had to learn, so do they. A quick swat on the bottom and a time out never hurt no one. I know I can still sit on my bottom. Don't be afraid of Social Services.... It is not illegal to give your child a swat when they need it, just as long as it's on the bottom and not in the face.

Today my grip is handycap parking. There are many people out there that think just because they will be inside somewhere for just a few moments, that they can park in the handy cap spaces. Well, I have a sister who is severly disabled and she has been left to park away from the doorways because of this. When you can barely walk, 50 feet is like a mile. Wake up America, If you can walk 50 to 100 feet DO NOT PARK IN THE HANDYCAP ZONE.

This past week has left me with a major thought about traffic safety and our children. Most adults, because they can drive, slack a little on their driving. I was almost hit head on by people driving in the middle of the road. I travel back roads alot to keep out of interstate traffic, where I travel there are alot of turns in the road. It seems not only once but twice a week I nearly get hit by someone coming around the turn on the wrong side of the road.
Parents... please make sure your children understand this is not proper and you can be arrested for improper driving. Let's make this a safer place to LIVE . Keep your eyes and ears open when you drive..... not on the radio or phone......if not, the only one to blame is yourself.
