Bio:
Hi all, my name is Sarah, I am 23, and live in Lethbridge, AB in the amazing country of Canada. I am currently attending Univeristy part time, working towards a fine arts degree in New Media, which is basically computer aided art, graphic and web design, film and soundwork, and animation. A very interesting and rapidly growing field! I also work part time as a furniture salesperson and as production manager of the University newspaper. I am also an experienced graphic designer.
In my free time, when I have it, I enjoy spending time outdoors with my dogs or hanging around with my friends doing creative things like making videos. I also train dogs and do a limited animal rescue program. When I can I take puppies from the reserve, train them and adopt them out to new homes.
I am an avid supporter of animal adoption and responsible pet ownership and I do what I can to educate people about the merrits of adopting an animal or how to find a responsible breeder, as well as spaying and neutering. I try and find homes for people who contact me needing to rehome their dogs, usually siberian huskies (my favorite breed).
I am NOT an animal rights activist and DO NOT support PETA or like groups at all. I do however believe that animals feel pain and fear and deserve to be treated in a respectful and fair manner.

Miss having you around. Sounds as though Tear came by his name quite well, from your description of his running through the house and on your bed !!! LOL That is so fun !!! I enjoy when Bandit gets rambunctious and tears about [we play a game of "Chase" ; ) ]. Thank you so much for asking about him. He is doing better, thank you. I have been trying daily on these pet grants. They are so type-specific; and literally NOTHING for after-the-fact. : ( It's impossible to get in touch with them "before" . . . yet, that is their requirement. I did get one, which takes a ding out of the bill [which I got today, and seriously, got physically sick]. I taking back the canned cat food, that will take $18 more off.
Anyway, I "do" so hope you are and your loved ones are doing well !!! Hope to "see" or hear from you soon !!! Take special care !!!

Sounds as though you have a busy and exciting life !!! Kudos on your work with rescuing puppies; training & adopting them out !!! : )
You would not believe how much time I have spent on the phone and the computer looking for Financial Assistance for just my sort of situation. Unfortunately, here in the US there is VERY VERY little. The rejections for lack of funds have been most disheartening. With a lot of tears in between. But I still keep trying. And a friend had suggested this site to me, for help with my financial problems to begin with . . . wasn't planning on on making this my wish.
HOWEVER, now the bill is $3,400 and I just don't know what to do.
I am crying again as I am typing, through the physical and emotional pain.
I can just hold my precious baby & take care of him as best I can; comforted
by my faith in humanity; in God; and the beautiful sounds of his purrs !!!
