Formerly a television news producer and assignment editor, now I am a married stay-at-home mom of a chronically ill son and a teenage step-daughter. My son has a very rare disorder that nearly cost him his life and has made him a bit famous - although he would rather be healthy and unknown.

we should all put our heads together to figure out how to raise the large amount of funds you need. the experience would do us all good, as there are many here in circumstances beyond their reach.
