Bio:
I am a single mother of two fabulous kids, Lazarus and Magdalene. I'm from Pennsylvania (around Philly) originally; currently I live in a small rural town that I hope to leave soon so I can get back to my roots and my career and make a better life for myself and my kids. My marriage became abusive, and my divorce has been about as messy as they get, but I can be proud of myself for finally standing up and saying Enough, I deserve better! I believe, most days, that something far better does await me and my children -- soon, I hope!

Congrats on the independence you've shown in saying "enough". That's quite an accomplishment! I was raised in an abusive home and know first hand how it distorts your childhood. Good for you!!

Wow...That sounds like my son. We did early intervention and a special preschool for two years. He is 5 as well and doing really well in school thanks to his teachers and an extended day program.
I love Pennsylvania...It is beautiful here with the mountains. Where I live every direction you look there is a mountain...I have lived here all my life. I hope you find a place and enjoy PA as much as I do. We will have to keep in touch...HUGS
