I am the mother of three children. One was lost 3 days after birth, my son's twin. My other two children I am very proud of, my son is a chef in Virginia, my daughter is a collage student that works full time. Just to clarify why I am here NOT that I have to but I want to. I was working at Foxwoods Resort Casino and worked there for A LONG TIME almost 12 years, their was a change in CEO's and if you know anything about casino's and the running of the casino when a new CEO comes in he or she will bring in there own people and fire or walk out the other CEO's people. Unfortunetly I was under the old CEO, as sad as it I loved my job but was walked to to the takeover. I met so many people as I was responsible for all the helicopters and planes that Foxwoods used. However that was then. I then took a job that I really didn't want, was a major pay cut but I did not want to sit on my butt doing nothing. Ever have a bad feeling about something? Well I did about this job and I should have listened. I was working for a sub company that makes batteries for NASA, on an assembly line, well when you have had 4 back surgerys it's not a good idea. Anyhow, I was at work and having a bad pain night and was up and down alot...sitting standing back to sitting again. Well I went to sit pulled myself up to the line (the chair was on wheels...a big osha no no) and me and the chair went under the belt...I had a pain stimulator put in about 4 years ago and this incident caused one of the wires to snap. I needed more surgery and it took from Sept until Jan for my hip to heal where the battery pack was. I was unable to take a family medical leave from my job as I had not been there a year so they let me go in a way I could collect unemployment. At the time I was living with someone that took off a week before Christmas no note, no card just vanished. Well anyhow due to the fact I had such a drastic drop in pay of course so did my unemployment. Now I pay $750 a month for rent and only get $175 a week in benefits ..you do the math. I am negative on the rent without paying anything else. How often can you borrow from family and friends? So here I am. I have met a lot of great people and also some not so nice people, but I try and see the best in everyone and not judge anyone. I try hard to help when I can even if it's a few bucks for postage or whatever. Anyone that knows me will know I will give the shirt off my back.

Your story is incredible! That pain stimulator: OUCH. They tested me as a canditate for one of those last August for my migraines, but determined that since mine start in my eye vs. my neck, I am not a good candidate. I hope you get on your feet again, soon. I can also relate to the budget thing. People tell me to budget but how can you budget when there is more going out than coming in? Anyway, you are a fun person to get to know and I can't wait to get to know you better in days to come!
