Funny isn't it, how people remeber the birth and death of someone they never met but can't remember the birth date of close family and friends? We stopped by Graceland the week before he died because my mom was such a fan. He was home at the time so we couldn't tour the house. By the time that we had driven back home from Tennesse to sothwest Kansas where we were living, he died. So when August 16th rolls around I will have to send you a note, just don't rock the boat too hard because I am a poor swimmer :).
