Married for almost 17 years, but in the process of separation. Been very unhappy and lonely for a long time. We have 3 beautiful sons ages 12, 6, and 4. Due to health issues, I have been unable to work since December 2006, but being a stay-at-home Mom is the hardest job in the world.
Having my husband's one insufficient income for 5 people in the household is just not enough to get us by. I filed for Food Stamps, but was denied because my children have Savings Bonds that are gifted to them every year at Christmas by their Grandparents that won't mature for years! Because they have 21 ($100) Savings Bonds now between the 3 of them, that "caused our household to have more resources than are allow by the Federal Government". I found this a rather ridiculous reason for denial since we can't access that money right now when we need it, but .... I guess that's the government for you. I just applied recently for Disability and pray that will come through for me, but I know it will take months (or longer) to get an answer. We live in a single-wide mobile home that we own free and clear, Thank God, but the walls seem to be closing in on us as each day passes.
I live day to day with terrible headaches and migraines, and I have arthritis in my back that is excruciating on a daily basis. I also have Bipolar Disorder, which makes it very hard for me to concentrate and focus and impossible to hold down the types of jobs I used to be able to do (along with my other illnesses).
My husband and I have not been getting along for quite some time now, and I am in the process of looking into Public Housing or some kind of HUD Program (which I know nothing about) so that I can take my children and move out separately from my husband, get on with my life, and make a home for me and my kids. I have been so unhappy for so long, and I have tried every way I know to change that and work things out. He doesn't seem to want to work things out. I am not only humbly and desperately seeking help financially, but I also need companionship in my life so I can be happy and my children can see me happy. I know I would be a much better mother if I were happier (and if I felt better).

| Activities: | SCRAPBOOKING!!! And organizing scrapbooking retreats with two of my dear friends. We have the retreat once a year in February in Mentone, AL, and it's a RIOT!
Anything to do with water. I love to be around water, in water, near water, or just to hear water. It's the most tranquil sound for me.
I love getting together with my girlfriends and either scrapbooking or watching movies or just hanging out together. |
| Interests: | I enjoy Scrapbooking, MUSIC, spending time at the computer, chatting online, eBaying, spending time with my kids when they are not being brats. But, God, I love them more than life itself! They are ages 12, 6, and 3 - all boys. I love getting to know new people on the Internet and chatting. I enjoy talking to friendly, fun, HONEST, FAIR people. Im a very giving, caring, fun, and free-spirited person. Most of all I demand honesty. | Favourite Music: | Oh boy does this open a can of worms! I am pretty much a music "freak". I love anything that has a thumpin' beat, perfect harmony, and great lyrics! An example of just a couple of the CDs I have created for my listening pleasure in the recent past contains of course some Billy Currington, TI, Justin Timberlake, Josh Turner, Chris Brown, Billy Gilman, Beyonce, Gwen Stefani, Pussycat Dolls, Natasha Beddingfield, Daniel Beddingfield, Nellie Furtado, Nelly, Ne-Yo, Rob Thomas, Gold City, Staind, Squire Parsons, Casting Crowns, Mercy Me, Trace Adkins, The Wreckers, Terrance Howard, Emerson Drive, 3 Doors Down, Nickelback, Akon, Brad Paisley, Hinder, 3 Doors Down, Rihanna .... just to name a few. I love R&B, some Rap, Rock, Country, Southern Gospel, Easy Listening .... Yes, I'm a music *Freak*. |
| Favourite Tv Shows: | LOVE when Scrapbooking comes on QVC or HSN. I love to watch Joyce Meyer - Enjoying Everyday Life (when I get up early enough). I love Montel Williams, Oprah, and Ellen DeGeneres. I love the Forensic Files shows and Dr.G Medical Examiner. I like the CSI shows and Cold Case Files. I also like Mystery Diagnosis, Medical Incredible, and Diagnosis X. And of course one of my all-time favorites is The Andy Griffith Show. I like to watch that with my Mama. I still love Little House On The Prairie. Sometimes when the Crank Yankers still come on late at night -- HILARIOUS! Sometimes I just like watching the music videos too. I used to be a HUGE Friends fan, but when I began to not be able to watch every episode, I lost interest. That's why most shows I'm interested in are not continuous. If I ever miss any, it just makes me mad, so I quit watching it. I REALLY like Crossing Jordan, though. Even though the kids have their own TVs, somehow the living room TV still ends up on either PBS or Nickelodeon. |

Even after she has her errands run and carried Timmy to the Dr., cooked, cleaned, has dinner on the table ready for hubby, she still has time to spare. HA!!! YEA RIGHT!!!!
For now, my REAL HERO is anyone who is not afraid to stand up for what he or she believes in even though it may mean losing his or her own rights or losing his or her own life to save someone else -- or to save a whole COUNTRY! Right now my biggest hero is KEVIN OVERSTREET who joined the MARINES! He graduated from Basic Training on September 7th, and moved on to Camp LeJeune, NC on September 17th where he trained at the School of Infantry. He has finished his training and is now with his unit. I couldn't be more proud of "my boy"!! Let's all shout out a big OOH RAH!! for PRIVATE FIRST CLASS KEVIN OVERSTREET!! |

I enjoyed reading your profile and it sounds like we have a few things in common. First: I call myself a "music fanatic" and love a wide variety of music and love outdoor concerts. Second, I LOVE all bodies of water! That is why my favorite colors are all the shades of blue (aquamarine, teal, light blue, navy, etc) because I love all the colors of the sea. I love the SOUND of water, too. I was just walking by the river yesterday and stood still and just listened. How peaceful! I was brought up around water, call myself a "water baby" and I am a Pisces (fish!). I also love dolphins. It sounds like you should've been a Pisces, (water) too, instead of an Aries (fire). I hope you will join us in the forums!

You are all very welcome! I am here to help! That's what this site is all about! There are a few MEAN people on here that try to ruin it for us all, but I truly believe in "Do unto others as you'd have them do unto you", and I don't post a wish unless it's something I really need for me and my family.
