Bio:
Well...maybe my first sentence was a bit too wordy. But, I am a mom to 4 daughters...ages 3, 5, 9 and 13. They are my world! I quit my job to be home with them when my second daughter was born. To bring in some income, I opened a daycare in my home. I pride myself on being a mom to the kids I care for while they are away from their own mom. I want moms that can't do the same as me (leaving my job) to feel confident that their kids are as well cared for and about as they would be in their own home. As the cost of living has increased, I've raised my daily rates as much as I can for smalltown, PA. Then I started selling items on ebay to make a little more. When my youngest daughter is in all day school, I'd like to be working online as a full time career. I also joined Mary Kay as an Independent Beauty Consultant.
Growing up, my family gave me all that I needed and most of what I wanted... What I wanted more than anything was more time spent with my parents. That's why I decided to give that to my kids. Now, I see why my parents kept on working...to pay for the needs and as many wants as they could pull together. I want my daughters to grown up knowing responsibility, humility, grace, poise, politeness, courtesy, generosity, respect and love.
I have a wonderful husband who works 50 hours a week. He is a fantastic help around the house and with the girls. After a whole day of daycare...he comes home and can clean up 9 hours worth of chaos in 15 minutes...all before he even gets a shower. There are women world wide that want a man like him. He does all the laundry, takes care of the yard work, cleans up after dinner, cooks when he has to, bathes the younger girls, runs taxi service for the girls and their friends, has "pseudo adopted" a few of their friends as his own daughters. He does this to allow me the time I need to do online sales. He is proud to have 4 daughters and has even been caught (albeit accidentally) with hairclips and flowers in his hair after a sitting with the girls practicing their hairstyling techniques.
