I am a proud mother with two sons one is 4 yrs old and one is 17 months old. My true life test came about 5 months ago on my youngest sons 1st birthday. I noticed some strange behaviors. I alerted my pediatrician and they were dismissed with the usual all children are different. He has now been diagnosed with moderate autism. He has severe oral aversion so feeding is a challenge. Due to this he is very underweight and my pediatrician is now condsidering a G-Tube. The Autism diagnosis was overwhelming for me. And I was very sad to find that most dr's and therapist in the treatment field are private practice. My son needs to go to an ABA therapist ten hours a week at $100.00 an hour that is $52,000.00 a year in just therapy. I ask everyone to pray for my baby.
