Bio:
I am a college student at the University of Texas at Austin, pursuing a degree in Social Work.
My number one goal in life is to help others, and I feel that in doing so, I will have made an impact on the world around me!
I am involved in various Non-profit organizations: Invisible Children,
Falling Whistles, Habitat for Humanity.
I volunteer a great deal: Salvation Army, Boys & Girls Club, Ronald McDonald House.
And, I am a member of the national co-ed service fraternity, Alpha Phi Omega. We do many projects throughout the year, ranging from Boy Scouts to local charities, and I spend a lot of time volunteering with APO.
I am very passionate about Africa, and the injustices that happen there. I want to help out as much as I can, and often find myself coming up with new fundraising ideas or new ways to attract attention to Invisible Children and Falling Whistles.
I go to school full time, and work two jobs. I'm lucky if I get five hours of sleep a night.
My mother disowned me after I contacted my birth father in March of 2007, and since then I have been paying for everything...including college.
I am on this website to ask for help, and to have others reach out to me, like I do to so many people.
