We are soon to be a family of 4. I am expecting again after 15 years for a baby girl. I have 2 step-daughters 8 & 9. One is with us and the other in Michigan, sadly haven't been able to see her for 3 years due to finances. One of these days. I also have a 15 year old daughter and my hubby and me are expecting one together February 2009. My dad just passed away in August at the age of 61. He was an Honorable Disabled Veteran with the Army, miss him bunches. He left behind 4 children. When he got sick, my brother sent a ticket to go to California and visit him, taking time off work I never expected him to pass away in a week after being there. I lost my job as a result, stayed for a month to help my younger brothers and sisters, as I am the oldest. We had to move Dad out of his apartment and sooo much more all out of our own pockets. DVA only covered $300 of the cremation services. Since I am pregnant, it has been impossible to get a job with only one car (gave our other vehicle - an old van - to a soon-to-be homeless lady and her dogs after her home was foreclosed on). Got a work-at-home job for a chimney sweep company locally here in Colorado for 1 month and was laid off because of slow business. He lied to me and then decided to never pay me. I had to file a claim with the Colo Dept of Labor & Employment to receive almost $500 that he owes me and nothing yet. All this left us all in a bind and trying hard to hold on. Thank you for all who have helped others and continue to help everyday. I want to help sooo many. Soon when I get on my feet and back to work after the baby.
