I just wanted to suggest first of all, finding a pulminology center, perhaps Cystic Fibrosis Center?! My daughter has Cystic Fibrosis and her meds alone without hospital stays (which are 3 wks long) and Dr. visits, are over $80,000.00/year. I suggest getting on the phone and calling a social worker, perhaps from a local hospital that your daughter has been to, because there is help available-remember the squeaky wheel gets the grease! and as far as losing everything...sit down and prioritize...i am a 3/4 time school and i work 20-30 hrs per wk, divorced, and support her w/o public assistance. We have a beautifully small 2bdrm apt and a new vehicle-we struggle, but we manage. It is possible; especially if there are two people earning an income. Good luck, and have they tested them for CF? just a suggestion...good luck! i will say a prayer for all of u! alijess
