In 2000 young singer-songwriter Scott Monaghan befriended Blues Legend Johnny Stevens. After nearly 30 years away from the stage, with Monaghan's help, Johnny Stevens formed the critically acclaimed Johnny Stevens Band. The age-defying Stevens collaberated with a range of talented but yet unknown musicians, ranging from 19 to 50 years old, to create a powerhouse of a band with an unstoppable onslaught of Stevens' versions 60's & 70's hits that simply could not fail to bring audiences from 18 - 60 to their feet with every performance. The true story of the Johnny Stevens Band was later documented in the underground hit film, Blues Legend: The Johnny Stevens Story (Hyperbolic Pictures 2005).
Following the death of his mentor in early 2005, Monaghan has set off on his own, in accordance Johnny Stevens' dying wish, continuing Stevens' dream to bring soul back to main-stream music. Monaghan's emotionally charged music is carefully crafted in an ageless style honed in his years of working with Johnny Stevens, resulting in new music that just as well might have been recorded 1960's, but resonates with classic energy that moves feet, hearts, and souls just as powerfully today as it did 40 years ago.

I wish you the best, I think your talent is phenomenal, I just hope this wishing doesn't backfire on your career, because I think with plenty of hard work and sweat and tears, you can get to the top of the charts.
