Every person in this world needs companionship, even if it's just a close friend, but friends do tend to have their own busy lives and that may leave you a lil' lonely, I don't see a thing wrong with you dating someone!!! Don't let anyone get under your skin, some people just don't get things and jump to ridiculous assumptions. Alot of marriages end 1st, 2nd, and so on, thats like saying that you shouldn't get married and have kids at all because the chances of divorce are too high and that would hurt a child, lets get real! Life has hurt, thats just the way it is, why avoid a chance of happiness just because it could possibly cause pain? Heres something to chew on:

An average of 114 people die each day in car crashes in the U.S.

An average of 102 couples of all ages got divorced every day

As a widowed, thus single, mom of three kids, I can tell you that everyone in the family is better off when Mom has her own life, including a social life. My kids get my full attention every second they are here, but one night a week they spend the night with my mom and I get to go out for a few hours of socializing and conversing with adults. Those few hours a week are saving my sanity, and making me happier, which makes life at home with the kids happier. I voted for your wish, hope you get it. You deserve it Jen :)

I voted for your wish, and I'm appalled that someone made such a snap judgement on you. I'm sure you're a nice person, and why shouldn't you seek some happiness in life? Best of luck to you, and your quest! I'm sure you're more than able to balance your busy life and stay happy and be as responsible as you obviously are. Don't let eternal grumblers get you down!

thanks for posting on my shout out . You have saved me time .Even though you could care less if one person out there reads it does there homework and Put the kids first I would have succseeded. You and your friends can say or do what ever you want but the statistics are still the same . For your son I hope things work out .
