Bio:
I'm 50 y/o, been married to my best friend for 24 years, have 2 stepdaughters and 6 grandkids. Then there's my friend's kids that are adopted grandkids so in all there's about a dozen - and 1 more who will be born in June! I've been an RN for 30 years (now you know why my back was in the shape it was lol) Worked in correctional settings, psychiatric hospitals, doctors office, nursing home, and home health. I work right now as a fraud investigator for our state's Medicaid system. My specialty area is the providers who are scamming the system. I truly love my job; it feels like I am still taking care of patients but on a much larger scale by protecting them from providers who don't have their medical interests at heart. Currently I am studying for my certification as a legal nurse consultant; I'll be able to use my nursing skills to assist clients and their lawyers understand the issues in medically related cases. In my spare time (!) I bellydance, do beadwork jewelry, sew, cross-stitch, read, cook, play pool, collect penguins, and take care of my feathered babies. I have a gorgeous cockatoo named Carmen who is a rescue baby - can't believe 5 different families didn't love her!!
