I am in need of neck surgery, I have no insurance
Let me begin by saying I have 2 children and my husband is disabled. I have always been the person to work and take care of my family. But I have been out of work since July 2006. I had neck surgery in 2003. They fused C6-C7 and now my fusion has come apart and I have deteriating(?) disc above and below. I can't have the surgery I need because I have no insurance and I have applied for Medicad but my husband draws to much SSI. I have also checked with our local group of which helps people that has no insurance, they can't help me because until I pay the only Nero Surgeon of whom is on thier list. I have also applied for disablity but because a doctor has not said I am diabled they can't do anything either. I can't even get in to see a Nero Surgeon unless I have the cash money to pay for what is needed to be done. I am able to do nothing except lay in bed or set in my recliner. I have tried everything I know to do please help me.............If anyone out there has any suggestions of what else I can do I am desperate........Tracy Ledford Gainesville, Georgia. |

A very well deserved Senior Trip for a unselfish daughter!
My daughter's name is Jeana. She is graduating May 25th. Let me tell you a little about our situation-I need neck surgery and have been out of work since July 06. I am not able to do anything but lay in the bed. My husband is disabled, he broke his back in 1984. He does what he can. We live on my husband's SSI. Jeana has really stepped up to the plate. Not only does she take care of me, she takes care of the household chores. In spite of all the responsibilities, she is graduating w/ a 3.8 grade average. She is taking the summer off but is planning to begin college in the fall. She has not complained not once when she is not able to anything her friends are doing or could not go on Spring Break w/ her friends. She never ask for new clothes or anything that is not absolutely necessary. She has not even asked to go on a Senior Trip! I would love to give her a well deserved vacation. She is my absolute HERO! 2nd Try! Please Help my family! I need neck surgery
It is hard to admit you need help but we do just like lots of people. I have been married for 15yrs (very happy). I have always been the one to bring in the paycheck to since my husband is disabled and can't work. He had a car wreck in 1984 and broke his back. He does what he can which is not much. We have been living on his disability check, which is not much, $1004.00 per month since June of 06. I broke my neck on an amusement park ride in 2003. I had insurance at that time but now my fusion has come apart and I also have deteriating disc above and below my fusion. I need surgery again and can not get it because I have no insurance and no way to pay cash for the surgery. I have applied for medicad and they turned me down because my husband makes too much disability income. Our house payment is $981.00 per month. The money I need is to pay off the nero surgeon from the 1st surgery so I can go thru Good News at Noon which is a group here in our town, who helps people in the same situation I am in at no cost. But the only nero surgeon on thier list is the one I owe and they can't help me until this is paid. I have 2 daughters and one son(foster) we have taken in to raise. They help me with the day to day chores because I am not able to do them. I have also applied for my disability well everyone knows how that works! I am in constant pain and tired of just laying around doing nothing. My family is great and they never complain about what they have to do to take up my slack. 2nd try-Well deserved Senior Trip for a unselfish Daughter!!
This is my 2nd try, I want to thank everyone who voted last time. But didn't quite make it. My daughter's name is Jeana. She is graduating May 25th. Since the last wish, Jeana was accepted into The Airline Acdamey. She starts this immediately after graduation. She also, plans to take online classes to get her degree in Drafting. Since airline attendants only work 15 days a month, she can work and get her degree at the same time. This is what I mean about her being unselfish, she is also smart too. She is paying for this herself. She has not complained not once when she is not able to anything her friends are doing or could not go on Spring Break w/ her friends. She never ask for new clothes or anything that is not absolutely necessary. She has not even asked to go on a Senior Trip! I would love to give her a well deserved vacation. She is my absolute HERO! My hero, my daughter, Jeana needs a well deserved break.....

Thanks Kevin I will not give up...Please help give my family
First, I want to thank Kevin for everything he has done for me. I had been so depressed I had given up on ever getting the help I need. I want to thank all of my friends helping me find my new found faith and energy to fight again and for the support all of the wishes in the the past. So, here I go again the same wish. I have been married for 15yrs (very happy). I have always been the one to bring in the paycheck to since my husband is disabled and can't work. He had a car wreck in 1984 and broke his back. He does what he can which is not much. We have been living on his disability check, which is not much, $1004.00 per month since June of 06. I broke my neck on an amusement park ride in 2003. I had insurance at that time but now my fusion has come apart and I also have deteriating disc above and below my fusion. I need surgery again and can not get it because I have no insurance and no way to pay cash for the surgery. The money I need is to help payoff the nero surgeon of which I owe him $9,500.00 from the 1st surgery so I can go thru Good News at Noon which is a group here in our town, who helps people in the same situation I am in at no cost. But the only nero surgeon on thier list is the one I owe and they can't help me until this is paid. I have 2 daughters and one son(foster) we have taken in to raise. Thursday I was informed that the $155.00 in TANF we receive from the State of Georgia, we have to pay back because thier office made a mistake. We should have never received it because we only have temporary guardianship, he has lived w/ us since Nov. of 2005. They help me with the day to day chores because I am not able to do them. I can't even cook them a meal. My husband does that for them and me. I really don't feel too much like a woman. I have also applied for my disability well everyone knows how that works! I am in constant pain and tired of just laying around doing nothing. My family is great and they never complain about what they have to do to take up my slack. I would love to have a swimming pool in my own yard!!!!!
This is a totally naughty wish but I would love to have a swimming pool in my back yard for my family and me. We can't afford to go do anything but if we had a pool we could spend some quality time together as a family. I could also get some exercise that I can't get any other time. I could also get out of the house and get some color on my white self. I think my children would also love it. I looked at walmart.com and found one for $498.00.
