Being an international student, I can't get funding from either country. Canada gives me zero and America gives me the absolute bare minimum FAFSA.. and I'm not allowed to apply for Pell Grants or anything along those lines. On top of that.. they jack my tuition up 4x what my classmates are paying. That giant figure up there is per year. I'm in my 2nd of 3 years.

I'm studying to be a cinematographer. I'm a dedicated student and I've worked so hard to get into this school and busted my butt all last year to get good marks and make quality films. My parents co-signed my loan for last year.. but can't this year.. and I don't have anyone else to help me.

During my first year Canada prohibited me from working in order to ensure that my studies would come first.. so I've only had a work permit for a month now. This has kept me from earning and saving anything for this upcoming school year. But now that I have it, I can save up for my 3rd year and pay for it all by myself. That would make me so proud.

Please help. I'm a really bright girl and I like to think I've got loads of talent. The film I made as my end of year project got a standing ovation.. It was a mock 1950's educational film about caring for your pet zombie.

I know there are people here who have more "worthy" needs.. but this is my dream and I'm desperate for help. So that makes me think of it as more of a nice wish than a naughty one.
