I wish for a house to rent for my son's and myself.

My son's and I are living in a Christian shelter for disaster survivors and homeless families called Hope for Tomorrow. Before we came here we were living in a tent in an orange orchard, we were unaware of who the owner was until he came to us and wanted to know what we were doing there. He put my sons to work right away and started calling around for us a place to stay. That's how we got here. One of my son's is still working with the owner of the orange field and the other one is looking, but hasn't found a job yet. I believe God will bless him with a job soon. I have scoliosis and am limited to what I can do, so I haven't found anything yet either. We've been living here for over three months and have some money set a side for rent but not quit enough.

People to stop bulling us and treating us badly.

When we became homeless people started treating us like we were worthless. Not all people and thank you to the ones that treated us as everyone should. The Sheriff's officers don't seem to want to help, they just tell you to leave. I asked one if he knew of some place for us to go and he told us that he didn't have that information with him, but he had a computer in his car. We were threatened by another. He told us that if we didn't leave he would impound our things and arrest us. He yelled at us and belittled us, it was horrible.

When we came to the shelter the pastor asked me my name and I told him Kelli and he said Helen and I said no Kelli, that went on about three times. I felt humiliated like he was doing it on purpose. He was very insensitive about us being upset about not being able to bring our homeless best friend Zeus (our dog).

Now their is a person that is nosy, pushy to the point that she is bulling us, and antagonizes me. I was upset today, she asked me if everything was ok, I told her I couldn't find something I was looking for and she immediately thought I was accusing her son of taking it, I told her that I wasn't implying that he took it, I knew it was just displaced, she started yelling at me so I told her to leave me alone but she just kept on and on. She followed me and kept yelling. I was not able to put a word in edgewise. She told me to go to my room like I was a child being punished. I couldn't help but tell her what I thought.

I am an easy person to get along with and I will go out of my way to make someone happy. But I guess I have TREAT ME BADLY written on my forehead. I've been treated like that all my life, even by my mom. I think I'm a good person and I just don't understand why I'm treated the way I am.

Gas money to get back and forth to work.

Update: Thank God and you for all of your prayers we now have a van and an apartment, which is in the picture. Prayer does work. God bless you.

We now are having trouble paying for gas to put in the van, which takes $50.00 to fill it up. A full tank lasts only 5 days, yep it takes $10.00 a day in gas to get my son and I to work and back. My son's job is only 10 minutes away and mine is only 15 minutes away but I drop him off then have to come home and then in a couple of hours I go to work, then I come home wait a couple hours and then pick him up. It's taking our saved money for rent to put gas into it to just get to work. We just got the van and can not afford to get another vehicle, I wish we could, one that was more economical but we can't right now. We have only been at the apartment for only a month. The price of gas here is $3.00 a gallon, which is outrageous. Please pray for God to multiply our gas so we can work, we don't want to become homeless again.

She is home most of the time and needs something to do other than lay in bed. I think it would make her very happy because when I asked her if she would like to have a computer, her face lit up and she said she could e-mail her family, help the shelter and spread Gods word. Hamoody Jauda got caught in terrorist gunfire in Iraq and a bullet went through the side of his forehead, leaving him blind.

He doesn't remember it, but he knows what happened. After the incident, the organization Healing the Children brought him to the U.S. in order to receive treatment and to heal while living with a foster family in Snohomish.

And while Hammody often thinks about his own family, he still doesn't want to go back to Iraq. But he may have to.

Jauda's Visa expired last month, but his foster family is now working to save him from having to go back to Iraq - a process that could take six years.

The Smith family wants to adopt Jauda and says the boy's family in Iraq wish the same so that their son will be able to live in a safe world.

Jauda already calls Robinett-Smith "mom."

"He's become so Americanized, too," said Robinett-Smith. "He's a part of our family and he loves us. He does not remember his family. He hasn't seen his parents since he was 2."

The Smiths are now working with lawmakers in the hopes of getting a congressional act passed in order to allow Jauda to stay.

Once upon a time there was a girl and a boy who grew up in a small town. They went to the same schools and when they became 15 or 16 years old they started hanging around together.

At the age of 18 the young man joined the Navy. The young woman had a little girl and two little boys.

One day five years after the young man joined the Navy the girl was shopping at a store called Rosco's in that same small town, she ran into that young man and they talked for a little while. Six years passed. One day she was checking her emails and a familiar name was on an email in her inbox. She opened it and it was from a social networking website that she was not active in and only had been a member for about a month. The young man had posted a comment on her profile page. She couldn't believe her eyes. Her heart began to race she responded and he asked her for her phone number and they have been seeing each other ever sense, that was two months ago.

This wish is for a little baby girl that needs our help. Chloe was born on April 20th, 2009 in Ft. Collins, CO. A physical abnormality was suspected surrounding the development of Chloes chin and jawbones and specialists in Denver were needed for the cesarean delivery to ensure a safe birth. Drs. knew that Chloe would need aid in breathing as the underdeveloped jaw allowed her tongue to fall back in her throat, blocking her airway. What Drs. did not know was the severity of the birth defects that became evident as soon as Chloe made her entrance into the world. Chloe has no ears and the ears that did attempt to develop are placed on her cheeks. Her internal organs are affected in varying ways: smaller lungs, kidneys and stomach and an enlarged heart. Her intestines were wrapped around her pancreas and an intestinal blockage was discovered. The orbital bones beneath her eyes are not fully developed and some abnormality has been found in her spine.

Chloe is now three months old and remains in the Neonatal Intensive Care Unit NICU in Denver, CO. The family home is 65 miles away, and this has created an unbelievable hardship on this family. Chloe has a big brother who is three years old, a big sister five years old, also a seven-year-old stepbrother in another state. This wonderful blended family is new, as Lance and Jennie have been married only a year. The children obviously had their world turned upside down the moment Chloe was born, as did the entire family. The family has been allowed to stay at The Ronald McDonald House, which is about six blocks from the hospital. It was hoped that this would be a short stay, but circumstance after circumstance have kept Chloe in the hospital and unable to go home. Lance, Chloes father, is a roofer in Ft. Collins. He goes to work and drives the 130 mile round trip almost daily. Jennie, Chloes mother, and the kids routinely stay in Denver. Ours is a small family, we have supported them by keeping the kids and also financially as much as possible, but there is only so much we can do to alleviate the major stressors involved in caring for Chloe and the entire family. The financial burdens seem just about insurmountable.

Soon I will be starting truck drivers training classes to get my commercial drivers license so I can start driving a semi truck and I will be traveling about 50 miles a day ~ 5 days a week for 6 weeks. With today's gas prices it will be a big challenge for me. To top it off I'm going to have to borrow a car from my sons or my boyfriend to get back and forth because I had to sell my van to a junk yard a few months ago ~ the transmission went out on it and I couldn't afford to replace it.

I have no job and no money ~ that's why I need to take these training classes. There is one more reason that I want to drive a truck and that is to team up with my boyfriend which is a truck driver.

There is extreme poverty in this town and it's community believes that when something goes wrong like the loss of a job, death of a family member or sickness it has to be the fault of a witch or wizard.

The belief of witchcraft in Africa has caused a large number of churches to spread throughout the township of Esit Eket which almost everyone goes to. Don't get me wrong, I believe in God and going to church but these faults prophet of some of these churches preach about killing witches. It's in the bible in verse Exodus 22:19 “Thou shalt not suffer a witch to live.” Which I believe is totally out dated and behind times.

These faults prophets use the verse to their advantage. When some parents come to church with children the faults prophet announces that the child or children are witches or wizards and that the child or children need a deliverance, which is an exorcism where the faults prophet charges the parents or parent money. A deliverance or exorcism costs about a months pay.

During these deliverance's or exorcisms some faults prophet makes the child fast for about 3 to 5 days, makes the child drink poisonous concoctions and/or pours it into their eyes. The child is also locked up in a room and beaten. If the parents can't pay for the deliverance's or exorcisms the child stays with the faults prophet until they have the money to pay them.

When a parent, community member or faults prophet labels a child a witch they may tie them up and hang them by their ankles and leave them there to die, beat them, pour kerosene on them and set them on fire, abandon them, pour acid on them, hack them with a machete, cast them out of their house or kill them.

They have no money and are living with a so called friend that hides food from them.
