Need help for my parents
I had a wish posted here before for my parents who needed help paying their bills, my wishes were never granted :( It's been a struggle, but they have been hanging in there anyway. My mom's thyroid cancer is gone since her surgery thank the Lord! But now she has another problem! She has something terribly wrong with her foot and needs to have surgery. The x-ray showed a bone that has grown to the size of her thumb, and should only be the size of her pinky. The doctor who had the x-ray taken said he had never seen anything like it before. She had to have a bone scan to see if it is cancer, but she hasn't gotten the results yet. Her foot is totally numb, she can't walk without a walker, but mostly uses a wheel chair because a nerve is pinched and she is in constant pain. She still is not eliglible for medicare or any other benefits and desperately needs money to be able to pay for her emergency room visits, doctor bills and the surgery. I know the bone scan alone is $700.00, but I have no idea what the surgery will cost, plus she has had so much muscle loss from not being able to walk that she will probably need therapy and that costs money too. PLEASE HELP ME HELP HER!!! I am going to vote now for others, and have voted for many in the past and helped you get your wishes, please help me get this wish for my mom and dad. Help for my parents try #2

My mom's thyroid cancer is gone since her surgery thank the Lord! But now she has another problem! She has something terribly wrong with her foot and needs to have surgery. The x-ray that had been taken of her foot was read wrong, the bone has not grown; we had her to a podiatrist and he said the x-ray was normal. She had to have a bone scan to see if it was cancer, the results came back normal. Her foot is totally numb, she can't walk without a walker, but mostly uses a wheel chair because a nerve is pinched and she is in constant pain. She was sent for an MRI on her foot, she will see the podiatrist this tuesday; hopefully he will have the results and can get something done for her. She also has to see a doctor about her jaw, they think she has TMJ, she can hardly eat because of pain in her jaw. She has lost over 30 pounds since April; and is losing more muscle every day that she can't get up and walk or excersize. She still is not eliglible for medicare or any other benefits and desperately needs money to be able to pay for her emergency room visits, doctor bills and the surgery. I know the bone scan alone is $780.00, but I have no idea what the surgery will cost, plus she has had so much muscle loss from not being able to walk that she will probably need therapy and that costs money too. She already has over $2,000.00 in bills not counting the podaitrist, MRI and now the jaw doctor! I truly wish I had the money to pay all these things for them, then I wouldn't ask anyone for any help, but I just do not have the money to do it. PLEASE HELP ME HELP HER!!! My parents need to rebuild their porch and add a ramp
I have posted here asking for help for my parents, I had been asking for quite a bit of money; but those wishes never got granted. They still need help, but not that much this time. You see, my mom has been sick since April with several different problems all at once. On April 11th she had a heart attack, the docotr disabled her and she is still very weak and feeble. She was finally eligible for Medicare and now a medical card to help with doctor bills and medications. But now my dad needs help to rebuild their porch and add a wheelchair ramp for my mom. We have been trying to get donations locally, but so far no one has said they would help; he needs the money to get the porch and ramp built before the weather turns real bad and starts snowing. We have been fortunate to have beautiful weather here lately which is unusual for this time of year. My other wishes were high, but this one isn't, PLEASE vote for my wish and help me help my parents. Thank you and God Bless!! |

I don't expect any money for this wish, I just want to ask everyone to pray for the people of California; it doesn't look like there is much relief in sight. They are going to need the help of God to make it through all this and get things back to normal as possible!! |

An update................
I don't need votes, just wanted to update you. I made a wish for my parents to get money to fix their porch and build a ramp; my wish was not granted through RHF, but thanks to a few local churches they were donated the money to get it done. My mom is in the hospital again though, she has lost another 7 pounds, she now weighs 122 from 172! She was having congestive heart failure again and has been unable to eat; her heart doctor is running a bunch of tests to see if he can find her problem. Thank to all of you who voted for then anyway!!!! |
