monetary help with our son's birthday and paying taxes
I can't believe I have been reduced to this. My family needs your help. I have 3 children, 2 of which have health issues. My oldest son (8yrs) was born with a heart condition called Tetrology of Fallot, he has had open herat surgeries, angio's, and a vein collapse. My middle son, who is pictured (5yrs) has Leukemia, and we still have over a year of treatment left after completing 2years so far. Our youngest son is just 3. I was diagnosed with Epstein Barre, a virus that there is no medical cure for. Sleep is the only thing that will aid the body in repairing itself. I was diagnosed with this 1 month before learning my son had Leukemia. I had to quit my job in order to get my son the treatment he needed, as well as the debiltating fatigue that comes along with my diagnosis. My 8 year old has a birthday in Aug, and our house taxes are due in Sep. Honestly there is no money for either one of these things. We have no savings. It has been very paycheck to paycheck, with it not even covering all monthly bills. Stress is not good for fatigue, and I have my fill. The financial place that we have found ourselves in, is not good. We do not live out our means, and I know that many of you might question our situation, email me if you want to know (depleted_one@yahoo.com ). I have always been an altuistic person and love helping others, but now I HAVE to ask for help. My son deserves a decent birthday. I am not out for a blow out party based on materialism, but simply the abilit to achieve the simple wishes he has. My children have been great through all the troubles of last two years, and I feel terrible that we are unable to fulfill some of the simple requests they have. My huband and I have used this life occurance to show our kids the difference between want and need, as well as showing them that God does provide, and I must say how proud of their receptiveness, understanding and faith. My 8 year old deserves so much more than he gets. He has been the greatest to me on a daily basis. |

Money to Pay Property taxes...2nd try!
This is my second try with help paying property taxes on our house. My family needs your help. I have 3 children, 2 of which have health issues. 3rd Attempt For Help Paying Property Taxes...

4th try for help with property taxes and bills...PLEASE
Please, I am asking that you find it in your heart to simply vote for my family and I. The last 2 years have taken a toll on use and although I hate to admit it...we need help. I am a married mother of 3 boys. Our 9 year old was born with Tetrology of Fallot, which is a Congenital Heart Defect. We have gone through heart surgeries, caths, angios etc...As if that was not enough, my 6 year old was diagnosed with Leukemia in 2005. For boys, the chemotherapy runs for 3 years. They start counting the weeks about 6 months after diagnosis, so we are not done with his daily and weekly chemo until February of 2009. That seems so long away. I myself have the Epstein Barre Virus, there is no quick fix for this. Rest is what will help the body cure itself. I have had an active infection for over 2 years. It causes fatigue, migraines, nausea, basically it feels like a really really bad flu...EVERYDAY. |

5th Try For Help Paying Taxes...Please !!!!!!!!!!!!
My family and I need your help. I pray that we all make it through this is all on the upside. Many of you already know the details of my situation, but here it goes again for those of you who don?t know. I am the mother of 3 boys. One, my 9 year old, has Tetrology of Fallot and another, who is 6 has Leukemia. I myself have Epstein Barre and Chronic Fatigue. I was diagnosed a month or so before my son was diagnosed with Leukemia. There is no cure for what I have. The body must repair itself through rest. I had to quit my job and go to Memphis for 2 months, then we went back and forth for over a year. Our trips are now more spread out. With having 2 ill children it adds to the stress of life. The lack of my income has hit us hard. It has taken us 2 years, but we are now in between a rock and another awfully large boulder. We used our credit cards for living expenses and to make up for the loss. We hated doing it, but what else could we do. We do not qualify for assistance by dollars, and they do not count the health insurance we pay for. We do get SSI for my son with cancer, but not for the other one, they say he is not disabled ENOUGH. I am going to try again though with his next Dr?s appt. The SSI we do get is lower than what we should get in order to avoid an overpayment, according to THEM. We only get around $200 a month. That makes our total income $1400 a month for a family of 5. I will break this down for you as well... |

My Whole Family to go to St.Jude/Memphis with my son and I..
This wish is partly for participation points and partly for my 6 year old son. The majority of his chemotherapy is done locally here at home now. We do have to go to Memphis every so often, for spinal taps, MRI?s and other things that they will not let an affiliate office do. Our next trip is in October. My son is already freaking out and crying because he does not want to go with just me. He misses his brothers and his father something fierce when we are there. Out of the 15 or so trips we have made, he has only been with the family 2 times. St. Jude does pay for gas and a rental car (there is no way our van would make it right now, tires especially). The problem is that they reimburse the gas when you get there, and the car rental after you get home and pay for it. The problem with this is that we do not have the money upfront. The other problem is that a family of 5 is not able to stay at the housing facilities there. There is a limit of 4. That means that we have to get a hotel. The cheapest hotel there is the Ramada Inn in West Memphis for $50 a night. We should only need for one night. If we can not all drive down together, then my son and I will fly out on Sunday, with a 3 hour layover in Chicago or Minneapolis, then onto Memphis. Then on Tuesday fly out of Memphis with another 3 hour layover, then home. |

Epstein Barre Virus Awareness
For participation points and because I think it matters. I put this in the nice category, because I believe that we as a country have to take this seriously. They have linked this virus to several cancers (most recently, breast cancer) lymphomas, and even Multiple Sclerosis. The fatigue is debilitating. The response you get is usually that you are just depressed and tired. It is so much more than that. It really does attack the body. |

Ahh yes, once again I am making this wish for my family and I. Our house taxes are due NOW, but we have until November, that is when they will sell the house for the amount of the taxes. Help paying property taxes
I don?t really want to make this wish again, but I will take the time to do so. Most of you already know the deal. I have a kid with cancer, a kid who is about to have his 3rd open heart surgery within a month, and one who has not shown a problem yet!. I myself am sick with Epstein Barre and Chronic Fatigue. Wouldn?t it be great if we just all got ourselves straightened out and were prepared for the end days to come. Think about it, no more pain, drama, lies, and more. 10th final attempt for help paying taxes.
Alright this is the last time this wish will run. Not only am I fed up with the posting the same thing over and over, but time has run out. I am not sure what the next few weeks will be like, but oh well, no one is ever guaranteed anything. Also, when I get back from St. Jude later this week, then I have to start the pre-op testing for my 9 year olds open heart surgery on Friday, and the following Wed is the surgery. Again the story goes...I have 3 little boys, my 9 year old has Tetrology of Fallot, a congenital heart defect and is getting ready for his 3rd open heart surgery, my 6 year old has leukemia, and I have Chronic Fatigue Syndrome and Epstein Barre. I had to quit my job to care for my children and money id VERY tight. We need money for the property taxes on our house. That is the most important thing right now I guess. All our bills are behind, tires are bad and so much more. An extra $100 towards the taxes would help out greatly. Just had to try one last time. Help with my water bill...
Lots has happened this week, and it is only Tuesday. When I finally got home today, I was greeted. by a shutoff notice from our water company. I have been paying what I can here and there for months. Like 50.00 here, 60.00 there, or 20.00 over there, well it has fallen enough behind. I need $110.00 by October 22, 2007. I know that it takes a while for these funds to be distributed, but we can always rob Peter to pay Paul on the sewer and the phone bill, ya know. Since I am now at the point that I have swallowed every little of my pride dang near, I will post my pay pal email for this one too. a little help with unexpected expenses traveling to St.Jude
I am putting this wish in the greedy category because I will get to Memphis and get treatment for my son, but the monetary side of it is going to be a financial strain. I am not saying that he will not get treatment, but it is difficult to run two households on our income pretty much. The food money that we do get is only good at the cafeteria, and you can imagine what that means for a child having trouble eating and on chemo. I had to buy small liquid items so that I could fly with them. We will have layovers in airports and money is simply tight. I hate making this wish, but I am. If any of you can find it possible to help me out it would be more than appreciated. If not I can understand that too.
