My name is Sara.

I am a classically trained musician. I've played in orchestras performing all over the nation, from places like the White House, to Eisenhower Hall, to Epcot Center. I've studied cello and guitar for 11 and 6 years, respectively, and am extremely passionate about what I do.

As much as I love to play classical music, I have, as of late (meaning for a really long time now), also loved playing straight-up riot grrl rock music. Which feels incredible, and sounds great... And I love the option of being able to turn an amp up to ten and just PLAY. I swear, sometimes loud rock is way more soothing than Beethoven.

I cannot, however, play this on my acoustic guitar, and am screwed when whoever I've decided to borrow an electric guitar from wants it back.

I think it's finally time for my own.

I've fallen in love with a particular white Epiphone Les Paul Custom... Not even a real Gibson Les Paul, but enough to keep me giddy. You know that feeling you get when you hold somebody you love?

I picked this up and knew it was love at first C#.

Problem is, the sucker's about 500 bucks.

I've already saved about 200 towards the cause, but I'm a full-time college student at a ridiculously intense upstate New York tech school that I'm paying for almost entirely in student loans, and it's starting to feel like I'm never going to be able to spare the rest of this money if I still want to be able to eat, maintain my 3.0 GPA, and to graduate on time, with a full degree.

I work hard, and have worked hard to get where I am.

So please... Help me out.

For the love of sound.

(C'mon guys, help me out!)

My life's become much more Bikini Kill than J.S.Bach.

I think it's finally time for my own.

I've fallen in love with a particular white Epiphone Les Paul Custom... Not even a real Gibson Les Paul, but the best I could find in the lower price range.

You know that feeling you get when you hold somebody you love?

I picked this up, struck a chord, and it was love at first C minor.

Problem is, the sucker's about 500 bucks.

I've already saved about 200 towards the cause, but I'm a full-time college student at RIT, a ridiculously intense upstate New York tech school that I'm paying for almost entirely in student loans and my part-time job, and it's starting to feel like I'm never going to be able to spare the rest of this money if I still want to be able to eat, maintain my 3.0 GPA, and to graduate on time, with a full degree.

Hello fellow Robinhoodfunders!

My name is Sara.

Maybe you know me, maybe you don't...
I may have voted on your wishes and left a positive word or two, and it's totally possible that's we're even "official" friends!

Those of you who've been around with me on this site know that I've been here a while, too...

And have only made one wish, twice, nether time winning.

This time, I could really use the help!

I have a car insurance bill due pretty soon that's going to knock out all the money I do have saved,
which was going towards paying for that guitar I still want, and almost had enough money to buy!

This is what naughty wishes are all about.
I'd love to be able to finish out the summer with transportation.
And I'd love to finally get the one splurge item I've wanted for way too long.

But without your help, it's one or the other.

Help me out guys, it'd be great to get the support!

And if we're not already, let's be friends.
I'll pick you up in my '99 Corolla VE and we'll get coffee!

I might be having the worst week of my life.

This weekend, my car was towed off 10th avenue in New York City. When I finally found out where my car was, I was told it'd be $185 to get it out of the impound lot, which I had to call and beg my father to lend me, seeing as I had only been in the city for an afternoon appointment, and have almost no money to my name. When I finally got my car, I discoverer that not only had they towed my vehicle, but had given me a $115 parking ticket as well.

This is an enormous problem. Not only do I now have this ticket to pay off, but also a $45 street-cleaning-zone ticket and one for$250 for parking too close to a hydrant in Greenpoint, Brooklyn. (Who knew that 15 feet away is the ofifically safe distance?)

With this in mind, I left Manhattan, only to make it 5 exits before noticing a grinding sound coming from my car. At the exit 5 rest stop, I got out of my car to discover the front half of my muffler/tailpipe dragging across the pavement.

Thank god I have AAA. The tow was free, but I now owe my mechanic $150 for fixing the car.

This brings my debts to a total of about $745. I have a modest job as a waitress, but it really isn't bringing in enough money for me to pay these off quickly enough to keep my car and also afford gas to get to work. I've been kicked out of my father's house over the money I owe him, and am now living with my recently unemployed mother, who's in the middle of trying to sell the house we both live in because we can no longer afford it.

This time I really need help. I'm genuinely pleading this time, because unless I get this all paid off soon, I'm going to lose the crappy car that gets me to my job every day. And I really can't afford to do that. It would take me over an hour to walk to work every day, and since I've also ended a rather serious relationship this week, I can't count on a boyfriend who's willing to get me there.

This really has been the worst week of my life. I have no money, am no longer involved with somebody I really cared for, and might not have a car soon.

Please help. Please please help me this time.
