my loving husband to be home for my sons birthday!!

My husband Stan is in Iraq. I just lost my job do to a car accident I was in. I could not fight it because I was a flex worker and they said that they could not hold the slot open anymore.
I have been in physical therapy for almost 3 months. For a back injury that I got. I was going to pick my daughter Mattesa up from a school dance. I was yielding to traffic when my car was hit. And our money is so tight right now.
We are behind on everything. Andrew is turning 12 on may 7th. And I think the greatest gift would be to see his daddy walk in the door. Even though I know he is over there helping others. I want him here for his 3 children. I just want my son to have a great Birthday. He already has to be without his dad. But now he probably will not get a present or a party.
And this breaks my heart. His daddy usually takes him fishing on his special day. I have been trying so hard to figure out what to do. We owe 980 in fuel oil and 324 in electric. And with me not working it has really taken a heavy toll on our family. I am not sure what we are going to do at this point. It seems that I am the one paying for this accident. When it was not even my fault. Andrew is a very great young man he has over come so much in his life.
He was born with club foot. He had to wear a cast for the first year of his life. He underwent a 6 hour surgery when he was one.
The doctors said he would never be a fast runner or play football. But this young man has proved them wrong. He has been playing for popwarner football for 6 years. And He came home on Friday saying he got a award for being one of the fastest runners in his class. He does have one foot that is one size smaller and on inch shorter. But that does not stop him.
So My wish is to be able to give him the gift he wants. And since I can not bring his dad home . I wish I had the funds to buy him a great gift and give him his birthday party he wants at the park. Thanks for reading take care.

Ok there is so much more going on in all our lives. To have to deal with the drama on the internet.
It seems that when people are on page one some get allot of down votes. Makes no sense to me. If you do not like the wish move on to the next one. Why sit here and call names. We are all adults right?
We are suppose to be here to help each other. But lately the only thing I see is name calling and insults. I have 3 kids and a husband that is deployed to Iraq right now. I know I for one do not have time to sit and down vote or insult. Before you write something do this. Read it if you think it will hurt the person you are writing about think about how you would feel if they were posting the stuff about you. So lets pull together And do this site justice. It is here to help. So I say enough is enough. And we should all learn to get along. A smile goes a long way. And so does a lending hand.

I am asking that you pray for baby Lucas. He was born premature. He was doing really good until he became sick. He was rushed to the hospital with swelling of the brain. They were able to get the swelling down. But we were informed he has a tumor on his brain that is inoperable. He now has a stunt in his little head to keep it drained. And they are trying to figure out where he is bleeding from. This little boy is so strong He is showing everyday that he is a fighter. So please keep him in your prayers thank you. (more)
