money for my puppy's surgery.
My puppy, Yuki, is about a year and nine months old. She was extremely sick for a few days and we brought her to the animal hospital. She was diagnosed with having a liver shunt which essentially doesn't allow blood to flow through the liver. Therefore, the toxins in her blood cannot be removed. Right now she is taking four different medications and is eating prescription food. If she doesn't get surgery she will be on this medication and food for the rest of her life but she will probably only live at most for a few years. If she gets the surgery and it is successful then she will be able to live a normal, long life. |
