My daughter is pregnant, due date is december 24. Her fiance works, but only makes enough to keep up on living expenses. They live in northern Michigan, and it is very hard to find work. My daughter is on medicaid, and looking for work, but with no car, and living in a rural area, it has been difficult. I am able to help with some of the baby supplies, but since they need everything, it is financially hard on us. They are trying so hard, and are good parents. They have a beautiful little girl, who is 7. They make sure she has everything she needs, but they cannot afford all the items they need. It would be such a blessing if they could recieve a car seat and booster seat. I am asking for help, because they are too proud to ask for help.

I posted this wish before, but asked for too much money. I hope to get help in purchasing these items. My daughter and her fiance are expecting, baby is due !2/24. A Christmas baby. Best Christmas present in the world.

My daughter is 25, and has a 7 year old daughter. She finally found a great guy, and he works hard to make a living. We live in Michigan, and it is very hard to find work, so my daughter is struggling to find a way to make money. She is very talented, and makes beaded and wire jewelery. But again, in the area she lives, people do not have the money for things like that.
Her fiance works, has been at the same place for about 5 years, and makes $8.25 an hour. So he makes enough to keep up with living expenses and food. We give them food and toiletries, I make a care package every time they come over. I wish I could do more, but I am unemployed. When I work, we are able to buy the things they need.

She thinks she shouldn't ask for help, says "there are people worse off than me". She does have a point, but as I told her, it makes people feel good to help other people. Her family is in need, and as hard as they may try to do it on their own, she will soon realize that a little help might be needed.

They have to start new, as my daughter's ex took all her baby items she had. So we have to obtain a crib, clothes, and car seat. Mainly the bare essentials. I am hoping I get hired soon, so I can buy some extra's. Especially a swing, as I think these are life savors. Every baby I know loves them, and they seem to soothe them when nothing ese will.

I am proud of how far she has come, and what great parents they are. I am excited about my new grandchild. And my grandaughter, the 7 year old, is such a great girl. She has her Mom's silly sense of humor, and between all of them, I am laughing the whole time they are visiting. We are lucky, as I have a great friend that gives us clothes that her girls have outgrown.

So, to wrap up, I am asking for help getting the car seats, as they are the things that they HAVE to have, for their safety, and also to avoid tickets. Can't afford to pay a ticket!! Thank you in advance.
