I live in Slidell Louisianajust 20 miles east of new Orleans. I'm a single mom and I have two silly little girls, and though we love nature we dont like it so much when our living room wall turns into a waterfall.
We love to swim, but We're not too fond of our living room floor turning into a tide pool. Every time it rains we have to pull back the carpets completely because the landlord cant get the leak fixed. I cant afford to move into another apartment and the landlord wont move me without charging me new deposit and rent because the lease here is month to month.

My daughters and i are trying to improvise by being creative when it rains(which is often). My daughters try to see our living room as a natural water park, but i tell them please dont brag to your friends at school or they may want to come play. ;p So I have to raise 2000 for rent, deposit and transfer of utilities to a new apartment, and I havent a penny to my name...though I could probably take a few water bottles and attempt to sale natural spring water, or charge admission to my apartment for children to play. ;)

We're trying to be posotive about it, but truth to tell the mildew in the walls makes for bad allergies with my youngest daughter whom has asthma as i do. So please consider. =) The only way I think its greedy is if i say turn my waterfall and livingroom tidepool into a built in garden pool with a fountain. ;p Which would be nice actually =)

Some Money to Start my Moms Foster Home in China

My Mom is trying to start a Foster home for orphan girls in China. She wants to eventually buy a house, but for now she is renting a large apartment in China so as the girls are released from Orphinages they have a home to go to. She is wanting to eventually start a Non-Prophit Cahrity for them to raise money to provide them with college educations and a home to live in. A lot of these girls dont have hope for a good future once they leave the orphinages, and many fo them go into horrible low moral jobs.

My Mom took a HUGE risk and went to Xaiman China on February 29th 2008. She sold everything she had in California to fund her move to China. She's giving everything she has. She is currently having Visa Issues because of the Olympics, and because of the EarthQuake in China. So ,she will have to renew her Visa every 30 days instead of every 60 days, which is very expensive. I have very high hopes for her, and she has already started a large network of people interested in helping in China, but noone has thought to try raising funds to provide the home that she needs to foster the girls in.

So Please I am asking you to make a vote if you read this..dont just pass it by! even if its one star Please vote!

I've posted two wishes that are quite needy and noone seems to be interested in voting on them though they love reading them apparently.
