Fun activities/games for my boys to have over the summer

My children are not completely without toys or games to play. We have a very modest home and a very modest income. I am staying home with the 4 of them this summer. I typically work while they are in school, and summer as well. Considering the cost of gas and the cost of daycare for all 4, we (my husband and I) have decided we would'nt really come out ahead with me working anyway. After all, it would be great to get some stay at home time with them, right? I am blessed to have a great employer who was willing to let me do this.
That said, our house is soooo booring compared to school/daycare. :) I don't have all the fun crafting activities to do, and I don't know HOW I'm going to keep them busy this summer. Not to mention keeping my own sanity. With 4 its very hard to make decisions on even simple things like what board game to play or what video to watch. It would be so much easier to keep them busy with different activities. Our income is being cut over the summer though, so I can't go out and buy the things I think we could enjoy during our time at home. I'm new here, and this is my first wish.
