My son to grow in a safe and loving enviroment.
I finally got the courage and strength to leave my abusive husband of 5 years in order to save our son from the emotional pain. I filed for a legal seperation in 5/2006 and won sole physical custody of our 3 year old son in 8/2006. Since then my ex has not paid any child support; however, his parents hired a very expensive lawyer for him. He tried to get sole custody of our son. I feel this was his last attempt to abuse me and my son by hurting us financially by costing me thousands of dollars in legal fees. He currently does not even come to see his child during his visitations of every other weekend. I need to take him back to court in order to obtain the past due child support (currently $3900) but I cannot afford it until I pay off the legal fees from the divorce and custody hearings. The photo posted is a picture of the holes my ex punched into my son's bedroom door on his 3rd birthday while my son and I lay in bed. **I changed my wish amount to $500, but I still have another $8900 worth of legal fees due in order to move forward!...Thanks for all the support)** |
