I recently graduated with my BS in Criminal Justice,
and have looked for work in my area.
I live in a small town in West Virginia, and there just
isn't work available. Also, I've been having some health issues
which have been keeping me from working.

I've been creating graphics for over 6 years now, and have
enjoyed making tags/sigs, logos etc for everyone for free, but
would really love to start my own graphics business online
to bring in some extra income. I know I won't make millions,
but anything would help right now. Me and my hubby live on his pay check alone.
It's really tough sometimes, and this could really help us out a lot.

I have 4 children, and this would help provide extra money for them,
once I get my business online. I've applied for my business license which is free,
and am waiting for a response. But I need money to buy some graphic programs, back up hard drive, and internet space, among other things to really get me started.

Any money awarded would truly help in this endeavor. And know that if
I should win [even though, there are more deserving wishes] I would truly appreciate it
and put it to good use.

Because one of my bigger wishes is to build some
kind of youth center in our county eventually.
Our youth don't have a lot of things to do, and find
themselves engaging in deliquent behavior, with all that extra
time on their hands, So, if I did do well financially, where
my business were concerned, it would certainly
help me work toward my bigger wish in the future.

A Vehicle for My Sister and Her Children

A wish for my sister Louise, and her children:
Toby, Shayla, Dustin, Brennen, and Brielle (twins).

In early July of last year
my 33 year old brother-in-law took a heart attack.
We had just watched our boy's baseball game and
was returning home when he took the heart attack
in their vehicle.

He was flown to Johns Hopkins Hospital
in Baltimore Maryland.
I stayed with my sister in Baltimore the 3 months
that Craig was hospitalized.
During that time, he had a triple bi-pass and other
major surgeries to try and save his life.
My sister refused to pull the plug, because
he told her to do everything she could to save him.
During that time, Craig was only allowed one visit
from the children, because the doctors
didn't want the kids to see him this way.
During their one and only visit, he could
not talk with them because the doctors
were keeping him in full sedation,
so they could rest his heart.
This is their last memory of him.

Sadly, on October 4, after fighting for 3 months,
Craig took another heart attack that claimed his life.
This devastated our family.
Craig was such an awesome guy who took care of his family,
but had been living on SSi because of his disability.
You see Craig had a rare inherited eye disease called, PXE.
PXE destroys blood vessles, etc causing
blockages to the heart.
When he died, SSI took his check from my sister,
and wouldn't even give her money to help bury him!
They had no life-insurance, so all the burial/funeral costs
etc my sister is trying to pay for.

Last month my sister's van broke down.
This was her and the children's only means of travel.
They need to get to doctor's.
Also, they all play sports in their dad's memory.
He loved to watch the kids play sports, and volunteered
during football and baseball for the kids.
So, he told the kids to continue playing in his memory.

My wish is that you would help my sis get a vehicle.
And if you can't give money, maybe you know
someone who would donate a vehicle?
One that had room for her and the 5 children.

Money to wash my DIRTY laundry!

Financial help and prayers, for Brooke and her family....

As many of you know, my cousin Brooke Springer was in a bad vehicle accident on
March 18, 2008, in Webster Springs-West Virginia. In the beginning it was touch and go. Brooke broke her neck and back. She bruised her lungs, and broke her pelvis front and back, too.
She had numerous injuries and was in a hospital in Charleston, West Virginia, for approximately 2 weeks. She has since been moved to HealthSouth Mountain View Regional Rehabilitation Hospital, in Morgantown, West Virginia, for rehabilitation.
The doctors are saying that she will more than likely be paralyzed from the waste down.
Brooke is very depressed and has started to realize her limitations. She is only 18 and was getting ready
to graduate from high school. She is used to playing all different kinds of sports, and this is a devastating blow to what she once knew, and how she lived her life.
These types of injuries, cause so many different problems.
Her family is in need of financial support, as well as, prayers.
This money would help to cover some of the costs associated with Brooke's hospital stay, room and board, or food for her mom to stay with her in Morgantown, while Brooke is going through rehabilitation. Her mother lives 3 hours away, and cannot drive this everyday.
Her mother is still recovering from a double-lung transplant, that she received back in January.
At this time, the doctors aren't expecting Brooke to go home for at least, another month and half.
They will be letting her attend her graduation if at all possible, but she will have to go right back to the rehabilitation center.
We are not giving up on Brooke, and know it is very possible that she may walk again.
We have strong faith, and we are holding on to that!

Memories of my Wonderful Mom, to live on....

My mother was killed in a car accident in 1992.
I have so missed her over the years, and I hold onto all those wonderful
memories I possess of her.

shirt off her back for anyone, and I mean anyone.
Maybe that is where I get my 'Giving' spirit from?

A Conspiracy of the Crabby Sort

I really know what happened, because I was there!

What actually happened was Nant had the land developers over for dinner, because she decided to sell her land.
She got tired of all the fighting, picketing, town meetings, and just gave up.

She felt this would not be healthy for her, nor her baby crabs.
She decided she could take the money and move to a place where there were billions of beautiful crabs.

On the night in question, we all ate dinner. We had an awesome time; we laughed, told horror stories and sang.

At the end of the night, the land developers handed Nant a check for $1 million dollars, which she said

So, anyway, after dinner, Sherri and Amanda walked the land developers to their car.
They shook hands, and wished each other well.
To Amanda's disgust, she realized that she had not fed her crabs that day, and
she also remembered she needed fresh saw dust to redo their tank.
So she asked Sherri to walk over to the field where she kept her woodchipper,
so she could make some saw dust to place in her crabs tank.
They worked for a while until they had enough saw dust to redo the tank.
Amanda thanked Sherri for helping her, and they made plans to have dinner the following, Saturday night.

The land developers made off with the best deal ever, because they bought Nant's property that really was loaded
with oil and not toxic at all, they became billionaires. Neither were happy in their marriages and decided the best
way to get rid of their wives, without having to turn over half of their wealth, was to never be heard from again.

They actually called Nant a couple weeks ago, and told her they were having a merry time in Mexico.
They got to do tons of exploring, and even swam with the dolphins, and were
currently sipping on their favorite drink, called Buttery Nipples.
They told her they were Living La Vida Loca with Jennifer Anniston, Emimen, and other famous peeps.
They are currently investing in the Sex Toy stock market, and have made millions off the Rabbit alone!
