I am wishing for funds to donate to Chicagoland Bully Breed Rescue.

Chicagoland Bully Breed Rescue is a not-for-profit, all-volunteer animal rescue organization that specializes in the bull breeds especially pit bulls. They rescue abused, unwanted and stray dogs and find them responsible, safe homes where they can thrive both physically and mentally. They believe that the public needs to be educated about the breeds characteristics to understand the breeds that we love. Through humane education programs and activities, they hope to make the public better understand the bull breeds that so often discriminated against.

These activities include:

1. Fun shows that include activities that can be done with your dog (i.e. weight pull, conformation, obedience, protection, and agility).

2. Educational seminars for families especially those at risk of illegal activities which frequently include dog fighting.

3. Community education programs to enlighten the residents of what is happening in their community.

Most of their dogs are placed in foster homes where their temperaments and personalities can be properly evaluated and they can then be placed in the appropriate homes. Rescues can always use money, for everything from cleaning supplies to vet costs for animals needing medical care.

A weekend getaway with my husband.

My husband and I have been married for three years, we have been together for 10 years. We have a beautiful 19 month old son named Jack, and a furbaby named Chyna. We both work really hard, but several years ago we fell on hard times. We dug our way out of that and are now saving all our hard earned money to pay down our mortgage enough to sell our home and purchase a new bigger one so we can have another baby, I can have a garden and DH can have a nice patio to relax on.
We haven't been ANYWHERE in five years. It's been nothing but stress, stress and more stress with no break.
I'd love to go to Las Vegas for a weekend and am asking for about half of what we would need to make it happen.
Please help me and DH get out of town and re-connect!
