A new television
About 3 years ago, our television broke. We couldn't afford to fix it or replace it, so since then we've been using a tiny tv that you can't even watch from across the room. My kids have to sit on the floor and crane their necks up to watch it. I'm afraid their necks will permantly remain this way! Just kidding. But this has been on of my biggest naughty wishes for awhile, but we haven't been able to justify spending the money on such a luxury. I don't want anything fancy, no plasma 982489inch screen or anything. Just a basic 32 inch....something that we can acutally watch without having to squint to read and words on the screen. Paint, for my plain, white walls.
My walls have flat, white paint on them. They are plain, boring, and all messed up.....because flat paint and kid hands don't mix! You can't clean flat paint very well. It's just time to get some color in this house. So, I would like to buy some paint. Everything in my house is either neutral or black, so if you have any color suggestions, I'll take those too :-) |

I want to make my friends happy.
I have 3 friends who are going through rough times right now. One friend is in the middle of an emotional abusive marriage, and she's in the process of figuring out what to do next and stressing out big time. The other friends are having a rough time financially, due to circumstances they can't control. They've been screwed over by people and it hurts me to see them treated unfairly. So, I would like to use the $300 to buy them a gift, or a gift card, just to cheer them up and encourage them a little during this rough time. Each friend would get $100. I was thinking that maybe some gas cards or grocery cards would be nice, too. |
