Freak Accident - Falling Tree Paralyzes Stanwood Teen
This wish is for my long-time best friend's family. Her 16 year old son had a tragic accident last November. He is wonderful teenager. The pic is of my son and my friend's son Matt at the coast. Any help would be appreciated by the family. My friend doesn't know that I have listed this wish. This family would never ask for help despite helping others in their community over the past 10 years. |

Romantic Date Night with my wonderful husband
Okay this is truly a naughty wish. I am asking for $100 to cover a wonderful and romantic date night with my husband. This would cover us going out to the movies and a dinner and of course the babysitter. Babysitters are expensive so we don't get out that much due to this fact. This would allow us a leaisurely dinner, movies and maybe a walk along the river without having to rush back. Hey all couples with kids can relate to this one. |

Money for a Doppler for a Pregnancy Loss Nonprofit
We have a local nonprofit in the Portland area that helps parents after pregnancy and infant loss. I know there is always a need for professional dopplers to calm the moms-to-be's fears of having another loss. Until you have gone thru a pregnancy or infant loss, you have no idea how scary it is to have a subsequent pregnancy after loss. |

More $ to be donated to Robinhood to help more people
Wouldn't it be wonderful if the Robinhood had more money for the weekly fund? Think if every member donated even $4 per month to the fund how those dollars could increase the funding for helping people. If this wish is to win, I would donate the money back to Robinhood Fund. |

money to purchase flowers for my son's speech therapist
My wish is for some money to purchase some nice flowers for my son's speech therapist. She has been an incredible teacher and very patient. She has been with us for 2 years now. Because of her help, my little guy is almost caught up to where a 4 year old should be in terms of speech and communications. |

Universal healthcare in the United States - It is about time
My wish is a simple one. Universal Health care for all in the United States. If other industrial nations can have health care for all - why can't the US! Each week we have wishes from RHF members that break my heart. All of them deal with either lack of insurance or they have insurance but it doesn't cover their medications and other medical expenses. There is a movement at least in my area to bring to provide health care to all children. There is also other legislative action to provide health insurance for all Oregonians. My wish is a simple one start letting your political representatives know that it is itme for us to deal with this issue even if you have health insurance. Everyone pays for those that don't have health insurance with increased premiums and less medical benefits as costs continue to spiral. |

gas prices to climb back down
In the past two days, our gas in our state has climbed 17 cents a gallon! We have one of the highest gas rates in the United States right now. My wish is for gas money to fill up 2 vehicles. I do try to conserve gas by grouping all my errands together. My husband is a tech that does on-site service so alternative methods of transportation are not viable. I have a small child that requires special education classes through out the week along with running a home based business that requires errands. |

Magic Cleaning Fairy that comes out at nighttime
I would like a Magic Cleaning Fairy that shows up to my house when I go to sleep. This Magic Cleaning Fairy does my laundry, dusts, cleans the bathrooms and makes sure they are sparkly clean, performs gardening work, files my paperwork away, takes out the garbage, organizes my closets, sweeps the kitchen floor, etc...and then when I wake up in the morning all of my stress is lifted away! |
