$$ for an orthopedic, adjustable lumbar support office chair
I recently had a very successful lumbar laminectomy which has allowed me to be pain free for the first time in several years. My job consists of sitting whilst working on the computer. My doctor told me to get an orthopedic office chair with an adjustable lumbar support so I can continue to heal and not get back in the same shape I was in before surgery. My insurance says its a 'personal convenience' and won't cover it; neither will my employer purchase it under ADA. So I need to find the funding for it myself. I don't have the funds, nor a way to get them in the immediate future. I would really appreciate the help! I may not be able to pay it forward in cash, but once I am fully recuperated I intend to get seriously involved in some 'sweat equity' and volunteering to help others. |
