My daughter wants to go to a writing workshop at Duke University for two weeks this summer. She applied for financial aid, but was turned down. I can't pay for her to go because I don't have $2000 and I will be out of a job in 2 weeks.

In Ohio, children under 18 must attend Driver's Education classes to get their licenses. They used to be offered by the schools, but that was cut years ago. Now they have to take the classes through private sources.

She does not need this, but if she were to have her license, it would save me from having to taxi her everywhere.

She also wants to get a job, but we live in a rural community and there really isn't anywhere for a teen to work. If she could drive, then she could go to a larger town to find a job.

I have a headache almost every day because my neck and shoulders are so tight. A nurse at my doctor's office does massage therapy on the side and I desperately need to have these kinks worked out so the headaches will stop!
