Money to pay for portion of credit card bill used for books
This is my first attempt at a wish and we'll see how it goes :D. I am currently a student at the University of Texas studying and cultural anthropology and child psych, paying for school myself, and in the process of trying to get an apartment for the next semester. I work two jobs, one during the week after classes and one on the weekend. While I don't have very many things on my credit report, there are a few blemishes from my first year in college, when I had difficulty finding a new job in a new town and needed to use my credit cards for two semesters of buying books and food. I've managed to pay off everything except one credit card, which is the one I'm trying to work on now. I still have the opprotunity to turn it around and save my credit now, but at the moment, I don't have the means. All I'm requesting is the amount the books cost that I charged to the account. That will make a nice dent in the payments, and I can continue to pay the rest myself. The books cost about $1000 total (but I'm only requesting half), and would be payed off by now, but last June I had to go to the emergency room when I injured my eye and with no insurance, the only way to pay for the bill was with my credit card. Thus, I still have a rather large portion due, and with me trying to get an apartment, I'm afraid the bad credit I've developed with this card will ruin any attempts. Please help me, so that I can finally get rid of this cloud that has been hanging over me for the last year or so and feel like I'm making some progress in my financial issues. With classes over the summer coming up and money needed for those, I can't afford it all. Thanks! :D |

Money to Pay for Deposit on Apartment
I recently filled out an application for an apartment close to my school with some of my friends. A few days later, I was approved pending I payed $200 or found a co-signer. Since I didn't make the credit check (I didn't have enough of an established credit and then a bad credit card that was maxed out with books...a previous unfulfilled wish), there is no way any of my family members would pass as a co-signer...considering they can't even get bank accounts. But anyway, tangent! So, I need to pay $200 in order for us to move into our appartment, in addition to the security deposit, application fees, and pet fees. I planned for all the other expenses, but not the added $200. And I don't have a way to come up with the money for another month or so. Considering we need to get this done now, in order to get the apartment (which there is a waiting list for), I kind of need the money asap. |
