Chandler..... our little guy on GoN .......... Stormtroopers have invaded our village, destroyed our gardens, and taken our food supply. Many from our village have been taken away as pets or slaves. We need any help possible so that we can nourish our newborn Wokling. Being one of the few females left, her survival is critical if the existence of our tribe, it's wisdom, and all of the skillful trades it's handed down for generations, is to continue. In all seriousness though, humor is my way of lightening the mood during hard times, and when my ultrasound picture was handed to me, and I looked down and saw an Ewok, I just went with it. (There were actually cute, human looking pictures of her, but for some reason, they gave me this one. haha). We are having a temporary, difficult time right now though. We've been unable to find work lately, and our baby is coming soon. She needs some essentials, but right now my immediate concern is food for me, so that I can provide her with the proper nourishment when she arrives. I would also love to have a working refrigerator to keep food from spoiling. Ours stopped working a year ago. Then, one was given to us, but when we saved up the money, and could finally pay someone with a truck to get it to us, it ended up not working either. So disappointing! :( I can creatively stretch a dollar VERY far, so anything I receive would go to great use. I have a desire, naturally instilled in all mothers, to give my newborn a strong and healthy beginning. I want to teach her generosity to give to others whenever she is in a position to do so, to be able to receive when she, herself needs the help, and to be able to laugh and embrace life through both.
